One most popular cheeses from Wezenspyk is certainly the Texel nettle cheese. Nettle leaf tops are added to the mixture for this cheese, which will create a wonderfully mild and fresh herb cheese after a maturing process of 1 to 3 weeks. The soft, young matured character of the cheese goes well with the spicy and fresh character of nettle. Because of the fresh and soft flavours, Nettle cheese tastes delicious on a sandwich but also gives an interesting accent to salads.

Our sheepskins are a real natural product. The sheep have lived on the land of a Texel farmer and have roamed freely there. The sheepskins are also tanned and treated in an ecological way.
