The heel warmer of the Skéépe brand is made of moisture regulating and warming Texel sheep's wool, with naturally present lanolin. The heel warmer helps to soothe and reduce the symptoms of overload, dehydration and cold. The wool also provides relief from rheumatic complaints and offers protection as well as warmth to painful joints.

Heel warmers are also a common remedy for bedsores (decubitus). Pressure sores are the result of poor circulation in the skin. The painful condition often occurs in people who have to lie or sit for long periods. The serious wounds usually heal poorly.
