For babies, it is wonderful to lie on a Texel lambskin. The warm and soft fleece provides great comfort. Ideal for the crib, playpen or baby carriage.
Comfortable and moisture regulating
The sheepskin provides warmth when it is cold and cooling when it is warm due to its absorbent properties. So your child stays pleasantly warm in the winter and cool in the summer. It feels safe and secure and gives a calming feeling. The babycare coat has a short shaved coat making it even safer.
Lowers the risk of asthma
Research has shown that babies who sleep on a sheepskin are less likely to develop asthma later in life. According to several studies, children who sleep on a sheepskin for the first few months of life are 79% less likely to develop asthma by the age of 6.
Is a sheepskin for my baby safe?
Our Texel sheepskin is specially made for babies. The babycare coat is shaved short. This allows your baby to nestle safely in the fleece and the hairs will not stick to their fingers or mouth.

Care
The medicated lambskins for babies are specially tanned and shaved back short. This makes the lambskins (limited) washable on 30°C wool program.
All our medicinal sheepskins come with a Skéépe hygiene-seal. This way you are assured of an unused and hygienic sheepskin. Once the seal is broken, the product can unfortunately no longer be returned.

Our sheepskins are a real natural product. The sheep have lived on the land of a Texel farmer and have roamed freely there. The sheepskins are also tanned and treated in an ecological way.
